The Advertising Education Committee operates on the belief that education and professional growth is a never-ending process and that students represent the beginning of that process. With that in mind, the committee is charged with providing events, seminars, and/or programs that supplement students' knowledge of the advertising business-- many of which can cross over into regular club programs, general meetings and special events.

Diversity in advertising—in markets, in media, in agency personnel is a critical issue facing our industry.
How do we talk to the fastest growing market segments using media that reaches and language that resonates? How can we foster diversity outside the traditional "ethnic" agencies, incorporating the best that different backgrounds bring to the table? How do we encourage young talent to study for careers in our industry?
The Austin Ad Fed Cultural Diversity Committee continues to find innovative ways to expose students to career paths within advertising as well as stimulate economic and cultural vitality in every aspect of the marketing, advertising, production and media ecosystem.
The Diversity Committee is looking forward to a great year and looking for volunteers, mentors and organizers. Please contact us at austinadfed
