SHIFT: From Connected Age to Intelligent Age

It wasn’t so long ago that we were all marveling at the dawn of near-ubiquitous connectivity and the emergence of massive companies like Facebook monetizing that connection. But on the horizon looms a much more profound transformation, one where we’re not just connected to each other, but to an army of bots and machines acting on our behalf.

Get ready for the Intelligent Age.

Speaker 1: Kate Rush Sheehy, Strategy Director

As a Director in R/GA’s Mobile & Social Platforms group Kate is leading the charge to understand what happens at the intersection of social behavior and technology. In addition to leading the social media practice for R/GA’s Austin office, Kate has contributed to client engagements including Fossil, Livestrong, Capital One, and Royal Caribbean.

Kate came to R/GA from Dachis Group, where she led the Austin strategy team and the Target and Discover accounts. Prior to that, Kate worked for The First Tee of Greater Austin (an international non-profit) and on digital campaigns at The Richards Group.

When Kate isn’t immersed in the latest digital trends, you can find her training for her next half-marathon, volunteering at the Sustainable Food Center, and walking her black lab, Mabel.
