The Big Wig Horror Show honors advertising’s unsung heroes—the vendors and service providers who make us all look good, even in Halloween makeup. Without their brilliant work, Austin wouldn’t enjoy its reputation as a fiendishly creative hotbed of talent. It’s time to give back and dance macabre with those who brung ‘ya—the Big Wig Award Winners.

The Big Wigs Horror Show: Wednesday, October 28 from 6:00-9:00 PM at Mercury Hall (615 Cardinal Lane, off South First). Food, drinks and all your friends dressed up like ghouls—prizes for the best costume. And prizes for Big Wig winners, of course.     Professor of Medicine / Director of the Center for the Study of Latino Health & Culture
    UCLA School of Medicine
    Dr. Hayes-Bautista has studied the influence of Latino culture on Latino consumer decisions and behavior, the reactions of businesses and corporations to Latinizing markets, and the role of Latino owned businesses in the nation’s economy. He is a frequent commentator on television news programs on English and Spanish language television regarding Latino issues, and is a Contributing Editor for the Sunday Opinion section of the Los Angeles Times.
