This role will focus on gaming industry content for the Web. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the semiconductor industry, gaming, and will be able to translate technical information into Web-friendly content for our enterprise partners. In addition to creating new content, the editor will also refresh content currently on the site. The editor will work closely with the Web design team to assure usability of the site(s). We estimate 10-20 hours a week off-site. BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE: - 3-5 years solid editing experience; - Online work samples; - Style guide expertise; - Prior corporate high tech clientele preferred; - Having repurposed content for the Web and able to provide samples. HARD SKILLS: - PC platform; - MS Office. SOFT SKILLS: - Dedicated to proper grammar and must be a thorough proofreader; - Capable of efficiently managing multiple assignments. DETAILS: You will be paid as a 1099 contractor and will be responsible for your work product, employment taxes and insurance.<b> Sorry, no relocation benefits are available for this position.</b> COMPENSATION: $35-$45/hour as a 1099 Independent Contractor.
