After 20 years in the printing business in chillier cities (Detroit, Cleveland, Washington, DC), Kevin Cassis was drawn to Austin in 2000 for three hot reasons: the business climate, friendly people, and Texas weather (go figure). As the owner of the region's premier multi-media printing operation, The Whitley Company, Kevin saw the need for diversification and became a partner in The Whelan Group. He has been on the Ad Fed board since 2006, and is one of our most active and generous members. |

Tracy brings a broad background of business development, marketing, and corporate communications to the team. As head of New Business Development, Tracy leads efforts to strategically grow the agency’s business and continue to build on the great reputation White Lion has earned for red carpet service and support. Hinson holds a B.A. and a M.A. in Mass Communication from Texas State University. She has served on the Board since 2008.
When not in the office, she stays busy doing just about anything outside in the best city in the nation – Austin, Texas! Tracy serves as the VP of Communications with the Austin Advertising Federation. She is also active with the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization.

Adding digital and cultural depth to the Ad Fed board, Monica is a global internet and mobile media marketing expert who has worked for Procter & Gamble, Prodigy, Citigroup, InfoRocket and OLÉ Hispanic Advertising in Mexico City, New York, and Austin. Today the bilingual University of San Diego International Relations/Communications grad serves as the Vice President of Marketing and Analytics for Austin-based Collider Media, a mobile iPhone advertising network which allows advertisers to microtarget users by analyzing their app usage. |

Austin-based Univision affiliates' new General Manager Luis Patiño brings a wealth of major market Hispanic broadcasting experience to Central Texas with his 2007 move from Los Angeles, where he served as National Sales Director for the network's #1 station. A longtime champion of biculturally-savvy programming and advertising, Luis started with in Univision in San Francisco, then spent 7 years in San Diego where he served on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Ad Club, was the Chairperson for the Hispanic Marketing Council (2003-2005) and was on the Board for the San Diego Hispanic Regional Chamber of Commerce. Under his leadership, the Austin Ad Fed will host the first Hispanic Marketing Symposium in October 2009. |

Liz Arreaga holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and is an expert in creating turnkey retail programs and developing and maintaining major brand strategies. Before becoming a founder of the Austin-based ethnic marketing agency Mercury Mambo ("where commerce & culture collide") that serves clients such as J.M. Smuckers, Diageo, Anheuser Busch, U.S. Cellular and NetSpend, Liz spent 13 years in California earning her branding stripes the "cola wars" in corporate, field, and bottler marketing positions for Coca-Cola USA, and spearheading ethnic marketing efforts on behalf of their largest bottling operation, Coca-Cola Enterprises Los Angeles. |

Mary Ann Stutts, Ph.D. V.P. Ad Education education@austinadfed.com Professor of Marketing Texas State University-San Marcos
A longtime board member, Dr. Stutt's favorite role is advisor to American Advertising Federation Student Competition teams, witnessing student excitement as they grasp the "big picture" of a campaign. Under her extraordinary guidance, Texas State teams are often among the top contenders and have captured two AAF national championships. In 2009, she was given the AAF national teaching award, capping a career also filled with numerous University, Ad Fed and AAF District accolades. Mary Ann's service to the advertising industry includes Chair of the Academic Division of the AAF and President of the American Academy of Advertising. |

Former head of Advertising for UT's Frank Erwin Center and imaginative marketing professional serving major brands, David is now responsible for GSD&M's wide-ranging charitable giving and pro-bono efforts. Highlights include serving as Race Chair for the Austin Race for the Cure (benefiting the Susan G. Komen Foundation); supervising ad campaigns for the American Stroke Association, MD Anderson Cancer Center and the American Red Cross; and managing the partnership between the Fannie Mae Foundation and the National Basketball Association's Home Team program, in an effort to revitalize local neighborhoods by helping underserved Americans achieve the dream of homeownership. |

NYC native and former U.S. Department of Commerce attorney Charlie Moster is a rare bird indeed. A sharp legal eagle with an entrepreneurial soul, he co-founded the booming national caliber firm in 1996 to help clients grow and protect their brands and businesses through smart legal and marketing strategies. Having successfully represented advertising firms (among many others) in complex commercial transactions, intellectual property reviews and litigation, Charlie has been a key Ad Fed board member since 2007. He is also an accomplished painter, composer and playwright, with 4 original radio musicals recently produced and aired by NPR. |

Scott is an Austin-based commercial photographer with over 30 years of experience shooting for local and national clients — and a cornerstone of the Ad Fed organization. Scott became Executive Director in July 2009 after 12 years on the board, previously serving twice as president, multiple times as ADDY Chair, as well as VP of Membership and Public Service. He is an avid cyclist, and for six years has worked tirelessly as marketing chair for Ad Fed public service client Hill Country Ride for AIDS. Under his leadership, Ad Fed volunteers have been instrumental in growing HCRA charitable donations from $186,000 to a whopping $690,000 in 2009. |

Thom enjoys volunteering as 2010 Austin ADDYs Chair as well as serving as Vice President of the AIGA Austin Chapter. Thom has a desire to help build rapport among creatives in the Austin community. A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Thom cut his teeth on building and shaping East Coast regional brands, formed his own successful shop and eventually succumbed to the siren song of Austin where he cofounded PryorGehring, bringing a desire to meld the worlds of Graphic Design and Advertising. |
