Liaison is searching for an experienced Marketing Communications Manager for a six-month position, starting in April and continuing through end of September 2012, and possibly longer. This person will develop and deploy marketing communications to represent products to customers as part of our client's corporate marketing division at a local semiconductor manufacturing company.
This is a salaried Liaison role paying 75-85K on an annual basis, depending on experience. This includes full Liaison benefits, including 100% employer paid medical and dental health insurance (PPO).
Duties Include: - Draft and execute marketing communications plans for product launches and marketing campaigns; - Own messaging for assigned product lines, business and marketing campaigns; - Coordinate and drive all marketing communications activities for assigned product launches and marketing campaigns: - Advertising: write/assemble creative input documents, determine calls to action, provide direction to agency as needed; - Collateral: develop brochures, fact sheets, flyers, CDs, DVDs, pitch packs, selector guides, application guides; - Content: contribute product-related content to internal and external newsletters, presentations and other communication vehicles; - Distribution channel/broad touch programs: promotion of key products through ads, flyers, articles, events, and education; - Events/trade show: event strategy, booth presence, demos, signage, staffing, coordination; - PR: in partnership with PR team, draft and/or review press releases, Q&As, key messages, signature graphics, contributed articles, customer references, editorial opps/story ideas, industry award nominations; - Product launch communications: program planning and execution, key messaging, PR activities, collateral, global translation/coordination, web/announcement calendar updates; - Special promotions: design contests, direct mail/eDirects, giveaways, videos; - Web: strategy and content creation for landing pages, family home pages and application pages, banner identification and creation, calls to action, product launch go-live, customer PR, articles area, development tools area, webcasts, eDirects.
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE: -Minimum five to eight years of directly relevant corporate marcom experience, preferably in the high-tech space; - Experience in most aspects of marketing communications - advertising, public relations, collateral, events, Web, etc. - At least five years of solid writing and editing experience, preferably with semiconductor industry experience; - Bachelor's degree in journalism, advertising or communications preferred.
HARD SKILLS: - Must be proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); - Knowledge of AP Style; - Excellent writing and editing skills.
SOFT SKILLS: - Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills; - Superior presentation and analytical skills; - Demonstrated ability to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously; - Flexible and able to work under deadline pressure; - Able to successfully collaborate with all levels of organization.
