Somnio is seeking a Video Producer to support creative project development and execution. This position is responsible for understanding, defining and communicating stated project goals, creative development and bringing a project vision to life. They will direct all day-to-day processes and activity for the development of various forms of creative media; including project planning, writing, resourcing and effectively managing cost, time, and quality. The position will also manage the client discovery process including proposal development. In addition, the Producer leads client communication, manages personal/team workloads and regularly communicates with the project team. Ultimately, the Video Producer is responsible for completing projects on schedule within budget, while ensuring high-quality results.
Responsibilities: + Produce thoughtful and innovative work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment + Manage and modify project plans that align with project strategy and creative vision + Track and manage people, budgets, processes, calendars and tasks + Ensure creative elements meet project objectives, quality standards and client expectations + Identify and book appropriate tools and equipment to meet goals and deadlines
Requirements: + 3+ years experience in video producing role + Evidence of strong written and oral communication skills + Proven creative development abilities + Strategic thinker with a detail-oriented focus + Proven problem-solving abilities + Videography or Final Cut Pro proficiency a plus
