Location: work from your Austin-area home office

Compensation: Based on the requirement of 4-8 years of experience.

Hours/Duration: Full-time schedule, 14 months with likely ongoing extension

Liaison Creative + Marketing is hiring a Digital Marketing Manager / Principal Design Producer to join our team supporting our high tech corporate client, a leader in Enterprise Technology solutions. As a Principal Design Producer, you will partner with design leaders, engineers, product managers, and business partners to deliver experiences connecting people to technologies that transform the way we all work and live. Your role is multi-disciplinary, delivering value by enabling the design team to deliver their best work. You will build strategic relationships across our high-tech client’s enterprise financial services offerings; to understand and empathize with people to help your team solve customer and business problems. You won’t be working alone. As a member of a centralized design team for our high tech corporate client’s digital marketing team, you’ll receive guidance and mentorship from design leaders in our mission to ship world-class digital commerce products. Together we will affect millions of customers worldwide and help drive multi-billion-dollar businesses.
• Own and manage the intake process to align resources and understand the roadmap across product lines across high-tech financial services offerings
• Implement the strategy across the domain portfolio in order to inform design leads and designers to enable strategic decision making at the product line and product levels
• You will develop and maintain partnerships with product and engineering leadership to calibrate priorities, scope, commitments and mitigate risk
• Support the design leadership team with effective team communication, proactive problem solving, information distribution and overall team health

How to be a top candidate for this job:
• Undergraduate degree and 4-8 years relevant experience in driving and advocating user-centered design methodologies
• Demonstrated high-level performance as a user-centered design leader creating customer and business outcomes
• Contributions to multiple shipped products
• Solutions within a product or program that connect to a broader strategic vision
• Experience presenting objective rationale to partners for design decisions
• Actively planning and facilitating design workshops and meetings
• A web-based portfolio showcasing finished products (no attachments or download links please) is a big plus, but not required
• Experience leading a user-centered approach to design process and methods
• While this role is likely to be remote for the near term, we are only considering local Round Rock and Austin area candidates. • Understanding of product design from a financial services or high-tech perspective
